Who owns my data on TimeLoop?
You do. Any content you upload or store on TimeLoop remains your property. We will never use your content for purposes outside of the platform.
When you contribute media to another user’s Loop, you grant them the right to use that content within their Loop experience. This may include displaying your content publicly within that event gallery.

Is my data encrypted?
Your files are securely stored on Cloudflare, and your account information is stored in our database. All data is encrypted during transfer between your device and our servers to prevent unauthorised access
Can I delete my data from TimeLoop?
Yes, you can request to have your data permanently deleted. Simply contact us at [email protected], and we’ll ensure your data is fully removed from our systems.
Data Usage
What happens when I upload media to someone else’s Loop?
When you upload media to another user’s Loop, you’re giving them permission to use, share, and export that content within their Loop. The Loop owner may use your content at their discretion — including displaying it publicly as part of their event gallery or sharing it on their social channels to create future content.
Your photos and videos help capture the full story of an event — seen through your eyes. Please only upload content you’re comfortable sharing with others.
Can I control who sees my uploads?
Yes — when you create your own Loop, you control who can view and access your content.
When you upload media to someone else’s Loop, your content will be visible to the Loop owner and may also be seen by others who have access to that Loop — or if the content is added to a public Loop page.
Always upload content you’re comfortable sharing in that context.
Sensitive Content
What is TimeLoop’s policy on sensitive content?
We require that all content uploaded to TimeLoop is relevant to the event or Loop it belongs to. Any explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content will be flagged and removed. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.
How does TimeLoop flag sensitive content?
TimeLoop uses a combination of automated tools and human review to flag inappropriate content. If flagged, the content will be temporarily removed, and our team will review it to determine if further action is necessary.
Account and Permissions
Who can access my data?
- You: Only you (the user) can view and manage your content and account details.
- Authorised TimeLoop Personnel: In rare cases, authorised personnel may access your data to perform specific support tasks. All such actions are logged and audited to ensure transparency.
Can I manage permissions for my Loops?
Yes — TimeLoop gives you control over the privacy and permissions of each Loop you create.
You can choose to make your Loop public or private, control who can upload content through an approval process, and manage who can view or contribute media by setting specific contributor permissions.
What happens to my data if I cancel my account?
- Free Plan Users: Your data will be retained for 12 months after your last login. After this period, we’ll notify you before permanently deleting your data.
- Paid Plan Users: If you cancel your account, your data will be retained for a minimum of 3 months to allow for easy offboarding. During this time, we can assist you with exporting your files and metadata.

How does TimeLoop handle authentication??
Your passwords are encrypted and stored securely in our database. We use industry-standard encryption and authentication protocols to protect your login credentials and keep your account secure.
What is tenant separation?
Tenant separation ensures that each user’s data is associated with a unique identifier, preventing any cross-access between accounts. This is enforced for all actions on the platform, ensuring your data is completely isolated and secure.
